"Safety" We are the only trailer manufacturer to utilize true Air Ride Technology. Other trailers use an "air assist", but the other components (leaf springs, coil springs, "Flexi-Ride" (rubber-ride) allow the trailer the opportunity to bounce. Behind a 4 wheeled vehicle, bouncing is no problem. However, behind 2 wheels this is not desired. Standard features on all of our trailers include a 360 degree swivel coupler, an anti-sway bar and 6 ply tires; the strongest tire of any trailer.
"Style" BUSHTEC broke the rules when it was introduced. We have and continue to be the leader in our industry with firsts like these:
"Performance" Our chassis is hand built in our plant in Jacksboro, TN. What is our secret recipe for the ultimate in handling? First, we take two trailing A-arms with a 30" pivot length, then add two air and oil dampened shocks which are specially valved for their job. Next, blend in a Class II spring steel for the anti-sway bar. Mix in a body band that connects the top shock mounts to the rest of the chassis for a fully integrated unit. Finally, smooth out the bumps and reduce rotational speed with 16" wheels.
"Craftsmanship" Quality has become the buzzword of the Millenium; it has been, and continues to be Bushtec's driving force. When comparing products, closely examine fit & finish. Are the fender wells undercoated instead of painted to eliminate chipping? Is the carpeting marine grade? Is it pattern cut and edge bound to stop fraying and improve appearance? Is the wiring protected wherever it goes through metal? These are just a few of many questions to ponder - not just cost. These issues affect the longevity of your investment. On average, a BUSHTEC will retain at least 70% of its original value, if not more in most cases!
